My name is Jeanette Cole and I am married with two children, a son-in-law, and two fur babies. I am blessed beyond measure. Since I have spent time researching the bible and learning how to control my mind and my tongue, I am able to see all of my blessings. In the past, I would focus on the problems going on around me, instead of the problem solver, Jesus. Now, I try to speak good things into my life and I think good thoughts about my life. Things really do start changing when we change our actions. We rarely label ourselves as 'depressed'. We can usually see it in others before we can see it in ourselves. The more we give into that defeated mindset and attitude, the stronger the hold will become over us. I have come to believe that fear is the onset of most people’s depression.
I gave into fear as a young child and it produced only negative consequences. Over the years, it became harder and harder for me to face my fears and I 'sank' deeper and deeper into a depressed and hopeless state. I decided to fight for my mind. I'm at war with the devil. Will you be a warrior with me and join the army of God? Let's be the church! Fight alongside of me and let's whip the devil's butt! My name is Jeanette Cole and I am married with two children, a son-in-law, and two fur babies. I lived most of my life in the Chattanooga, Tennessee area -- until 2019. My husband and I moved to the beach! We went from the mountains and lakes of Tennessee to the beach and palm trees of North Carolina. It’s our happy place and we love it!
I have struggled with depression most of my life. Nothing life changing happened to me to cause my negative mindset. I wasn’t abused or mistreated growing up. I am an extreme introvert and I think the anguish of trying to fit in with others became too much for me to handle. I lived in fear of everything. Thinking back, I believe people thought I was stuck-up and snobby because I was so painfully shy. That’s why people avoided me. I thought something was wrong with me, but it was just that nobody knew how to respond to my quiet, stand-offish behavior. I began to get bitter and negative about life. The more we give into that defeated mindset and attitude, the stronger the hold will become over us. I have come to believe that fear is the onset of most people’s depression. I gave into fear as a young child and it produced only negative consequences.

I got tired of feeling down all the time and decided to fight for my mind. I wrote an essay about a tragedy that happened in my family.
Download PDF9. If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12. For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13. for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
